Singles for Christ Regional Conference

            Since then, I really wanted to be part in a religious organization. I wanted to get involved to conferences, activities, etc. that speak about God. I wanted to be in a group that share the same interest and belief. And here I am now, part of the Singles for Christ family- Valencia Chapter.

            My cousin invited me to attend in a Christian Life Program and so I did to widen my views about religious practices and to make new friends at the same time. I’ve been active to some religious organizations before and now I’m back. Actually, it is not only me who was invited. My friend and I were invited by my cousin but only I continued. I never regretted that I continued because I met a lot of people with different personalities and I was able to build a new family inside our organization.

            In the Christian Life Program, we need to take twelve (12) talks to be able to graduate (certified member of SFC). I’m happy that our last talk will be this coming Sunday, September 27, 2015. I learned a lot of things from this program. I learned about how it is to be a Christian, how great God’s love is, and so many other things.

            Our knowledge about God doesn’t end there. We still have other conferences outside the program.

            Last September 18-20, we had our regional conference held at the Convention Center ,Dumaguete City with SFC delegates from Bohol, Cebu, Siquijor, and other places in Central Visayas. This is one of the best conferences I get involved in. There were lots of speakers who shared their downfalls and how they were able to overcome it all. I was really inspired by their testimonies because it gives me a realization that I am luckier in some aspects than them. I should be thankful. Sometimes in my life, I cried so hard because I can’t get what I wanted. I’m still lucky because there are lots of people who have serious problems than mine.

            The conference opens new world to me. I have lots of new friends now in the organization. We spent the night of September 20 together. I can say, it was the best night ever. I am really happy that God gave me this opportunity to join this kind of event. I can’t really explain how happy I am. I am really HAPPY. Thank you Lord God Almighty.
